ENGLISH GAMES BOX AND OTHER ACTIVITIES

Al segon trimestre hem tingut la "English games box" per fer jocs de taula en anglès. També hem escoltat "stories and songs" d'en Patch i na Froggy i tot seguit hem fet jocs per xerrar en anglès.

Didactic Unit based on: Froggy and lizard story / Unitat didàctica: Froggy porta't bé.

The plot: "In this story Froggy, our puppet is the main character. Froggy is naughty because she chases her purple friend lizard pretending to eat him.. That's why an angry fairy appears and punishes her changing her colour from beautiful green into yellow. Then Froggy feels really sad and asks for help,.. She finally regrets and says "I'm sorry" to lizard, so the fairy changes her again into green."

At school children acted out the story, played an action chasing game (Froggy after Lizard, addapted from "Mouse and cat") , and played with flashcards in order to build sentences: She /he/ they + is/are + bad/good/angry/happy/sad (FEELINGS) --yellow/green/purple (COLOURS). They also learned an action song ("5 green frogs ", in the tune of "10 green bottles") and acted it out.

The didactic unit ended with a handycraft: purple lizad made of salted pastry.

La Unitat didàctica parteix da la història contada en imatges de na Froggy, que un dia que no es va portar massa bé amb el seu amic una sargantana color lila (PURPLE LIZARD). El va perseguir i se'l va voler menjar, llavors va aparìxer una fada que va renyar la Froggy i la va transformar en color groc ("ABRACADABRA YELLOW). Això no va agradar gens a la nostra titella i va haver de demanar perdó a la sargantana ("I'M SORRY ").

A classe hem fet activitats relacionades amb aquesta història:

-El joc de "Froggy and lizard" adaptat del de "Cat and mouse". Asseguts en rotllo un infant anomena els altres "lizard, lizard.." mentre volta per fora i va tocant els caps, quan canvia el nom i diu "Frog", l'altre l'ha de perseguir.

-Joc de contruir frases: a partir d' imatges per aconseguir dir frases en anglès (He/she/they + is/are + good/bad/happy/sad/angry or yellow/green/purple)

-Representació al petit Puppet Theatre de la història.

-Representació de la cançó "5 green frogs" (adaptada de la canço "10 green bottles")

-Manualitat amb pasta de sal: fem una "PURPLE LIZARD". Aconseguim fer el "purple " barrejant "red and blue tempera colours" i fem la pasta amb "salt, wheat flour, and coloured water" .

WEATHER SONGS AND STORY

This term we've been working on the weather as a routine: everyday a helper child helps the whole class tho know about the weather and the date. During this activity children learn how to talk about it: "Is it + cloudy/ sunny/ windy/raining?" "Yes it is cloudy../ No it isn't.." "What day is today?" "What number?"
In addition they review numbers until 10 and more.. The days of the week, months and season.

Related to this routine activity we introduced a Patch's story about the weather: one day Ana and Patch go for a walk and the weather changes suddenly.. LISTEN TO IT!

Aquest trimestre a P5 hem iniciat la rutina de mirar "Quin temps fa i quin dia som?" en anglès. Ho feim els dies que tenim la classe d'anglès i el protagonista és l'encarregat d'aquell dia. Aprenem com parlar en anglès sobre el temps (veure frases a part en anglès). A més ens serveix per repassar els números fins al 10 i més.. A més també aprendrem els dies de la setmana, els mesos i les estacions.

Relacionant-ho amb aquesta rutina hem introduit una història de la nostra titella en Patch: un dia surten a passejar amb l'Ana i el temps canvia molt ràpidament..ESCOLTAU-LA!!
