Na Froggy arriba a les aules de P3 i P4 amb na Tere dins la "yellow bag", xerra anglès amb ella.

Si li deim "kiss" o "hug" ens dóna besades i abraçades. Sap tots els nostros "names" i ens saluda dient "hello"

Quan li demanam "how are you?", ella respon "happy", "sad", "angry"...i ens conta què li ha passat.

Per halloween hem vist i escoltat aquesta canço amb en Patch i "five funny pumpkins". A na Froggy també li agrada molt halloween.

Hem jugat a amagar en Patch i na Froggy. Uns fillets es passen la titella pel darrera i la resta tanquen els ulls mentre sona la canço:

"Patch, where are you? Here I am, here I am hello to you."

Després han d'endevinar qui la té i tots deim: "Here is Patch!!!"

Al segon trimestre hem tingut la "English games box" per fer jocs de taula en anglès. També hem escoltat "stories and songs" d'en Patch i na Froggy i tot seguit hem fet jocs per xerrar en anglès.

Didactic Unit based on: Froggy and lizard story / Unitat didàctica: Froggy porta't bé.

The plot: "In this story Froggy, our puppet is the main character. Froggy is naughty because she chases her purple friend lizard pretending to eat him.. That's why an angry fairy appears and punishes her changing her colour from beautiful green into yellow. Then Froggy feels really sad and asks for help,.. She finally regrets and says "I'm sorry" to lizard, so the fairy changes her again into green."

At school children acted out the story, played an action chasing game (Froggy after Lizard, addapted from "Mouse and cat") , and played with flashcards in order to build sentences: She /he/ they + is/are + bad/good/angry/happy/sad (FEELINGS) --yellow/green/purple (COLOURS). They also learned an action song ("5 green frogs ", in the tune of "10 green bottles") and acted it out.

The didactic unit ended with a handycraft: purple lizad made of salted pastry.

La Unitat didàctica parteix da la història contada en imatges de na Froggy, que un dia que no es va portar massa bé amb el seu amic una sargantana color lila (PURPLE LIZARD). El va perseguir i se'l va voler menjar, llavors va aparìxer una fada que va renyar la Froggy i la va transformar en color groc ("ABRACADABRA YELLOW). Això no va agradar gens a la nostra titella i va haver de demanar perdó a la sargantana ("I'M SORRY ").

A classe hem fet activitats relacionades amb aquesta història:

-El joc de "Froggy and lizard" adaptat del de "Cat and mouse". Asseguts en rotllo un infant anomena els altres "lizard, lizard.." mentre volta per fora i va tocant els caps, quan canvia el nom i diu "Frog", l'altre l'ha de perseguir.

-Joc de contruir frases: a partir d' imatges per aconseguir dir frases en anglès (He/she/they + is/are + good/bad/happy/sad/angry or yellow/green/purple)

-Representació al petit Puppet Theatre de la història.

-Representació de la cançó "5 green frogs" (adaptada de la canço "10 green bottles")

-Manualitat amb pasta de sal: fem una "PURPLE LIZARD". Aconseguim fer el "purple " barrejant "red and blue tempera colours" i fem la pasta amb "salt, wheat flour, and coloured water" .

WEATHER SONGS AND STORY

This term we've been working on the weather as a routine: everyday a helper child helps the whole class tho know about the weather and the date. During this activity children learn how to talk about it: "Is it + cloudy/ sunny/ windy/raining?" "Yes it is cloudy../ No it isn't.." "What day is today?" "What number?"
In addition they review numbers until 10 and more.. The days of the week, months and season.

Related to this routine activity we introduced a Patch's story about the weather: one day Ana and Patch go for a walk and the weather changes suddenly.. LISTEN TO IT!

Aquest trimestre a P5 hem iniciat la rutina de mirar "Quin temps fa i quin dia som?" en anglès. Ho feim els dies que tenim la classe d'anglès i el protagonista és l'encarregat d'aquell dia. Aprenem com parlar en anglès sobre el temps (veure frases a part en anglès). A més ens serveix per repassar els números fins al 10 i més.. A més també aprendrem els dies de la setmana, els mesos i les estacions.

Relacionant-ho amb aquesta rutina hem introduit una història de la nostra titella en Patch: un dia surten a passejar amb l'Ana i el temps canvia molt ràpidament..ESCOLTAU-LA!!

BIRTHDAY'S BOX!!

Hello families! Hola famílies!

Alguns de vosaltres ja l'heu tinguda a casa. De moment és tot un èxit. Ens agrada comentar la pàgina personal de cada infant i possiblement recordarem per molts anys què va menjar cadascú a la seva festa ( en anglès!!).

Sabem que en alguns casos la festa és el de menys, ja que hi ha maneres diverses de celebrar un cumpleanys: una excursió, un viatge, un dinar, .. Tot és adequat i ens agrada la diversitat. Amb els fillets ja hem parlat de que no podem convidar a tothom a casa (no hi cabem 25 al menjador), si no hem anat a casa d'algú el dia del cumpleanys podem anar-hi un altre dia a jugar...

I si per desgràcia no disposau de cap fotografia podeu ajudar el vostre fill/filla a fer un dibuix de la festa o també enganxar-ne una d'un any anterior, o de qualsevol trobada amb amics..

Some of you have already had it at home. I hope you enjoyed it. Children are really proud of their own personal page and enjoy showing it to their classmates.

Some questions have come up during the conversation as not everychildren can attend their friend's party. We've been talking about going to play at our classmates house in another different occasion if we haven't been invited. Sometimes 25 children are two many to fit in a small diningroom. In addition we know of several ways to celebrate a birthday that are not necessarily a party : an excursion, a trip, .. for instance. We would like to know of it if that's your case.

And if unfortunately you don't have any picture avilable you could help your child to draw the party or stick any meeting with friends's picture that you have,..

En PATCH ha fet 5 anys i ho hem celebrat escoltant la història de la celebració, jugant amb les imatges i l'autèntic menjar i elaborant uns màscares que representen "currant buns", un altre dels seus menjars preferits..

PATCH is now 5 years old. We celebrated his birthday listening to the birthday party story and playing with the food flashcards and even with the authenbtic food that he preferes most. We also made some masks in order to act out one of his favourite songs: "5 currant buns".

Aquest trimestre hem programat una sèrie d'activitats en anglès relacionades amb aquesta història que xerra de mussols. El trimestre anterior vam preparar-ne algunes d'una història de dinosaures.

Esperam que la disfruteu i que els infants recordin molt del vocabulari que ens hem esforçat en aprendre.






This term we have prepared several activities related to this story. Last term we were doing some related to a dinosaurs story (not available in internet).

I hope you enjoy watching it. Children got bewitched by it and now are able to remind lots of new vocabulary and expressions.

CHANTS AND COUNTING SONGS

Amb cançons representades amb el cos és fàcil aprendre l'anglès. Ens serveixen per atreure l'atenció dels infants al començament de l'hora d'anglès i també per aprendre a comptar, vocabulari del cos i les accions,.. Les titelles de la classe d'anglès surten a saludar-nos després de sentir-les.

Hem introduit l'ordinador amb els infants de 3 anys mitjançant un joc en anglès i l'atenció individualitzada de la mestra per tal de que els infants ho pugin fer.

Alhora aprenen els noms dels colors en anglès.
